In 2007 Lamprecht & Associates Investments (PTY) LTD trading as Coastal Petroleum Suppliers started its transport operation, focusing on the transport of bulk petroleum products.
Coastal Petroleum Suppliers services a diverse customer base including several national clients with the
transportion of bulk petroleum products to various sites within the Republic of South
Africa and also into neighbouring countries as required.
We Offer:

Deliveries can be done either metered or SPD (Sealed Parcel Delivery).
Vehicle are sealed free of charge at the point of departure or if requested by an outsourced company at the current rate.

Negotiable rates depending on the size of the contract.
Vehicles are tracked 24/7 using Ctrack MAX.
Electronic invoicing after finalized delivery.

Coastal Petroleum Suppliers mission is to provide reliable transportation services to its customers through its team of experienced professionals, and an impressive fleet of petroleum transportation vehicles.
Whether a customer is purchasing products from Coastal Petroleum Suppliers or the customer needs a consignment of its own product delivered, Coastal Petroleum Suppliers can fulfil those needs. All vehicles are fitted with C-Track Solo systems and are monitored 24/7 on a full maintenance contract with MAN to ensure optimum reliability.

All Coastal Petroleum Suppliers BVO's (Bulk Vehicle Operators) have successfully completed the Shell Oil Products Africa (SOPAF) sixteen module course and attend refresher courses every six months. They are also trained in first aid, fire fighting and spill control. Annual assessments ensure compliance with company regulations as we as National and Provincial legislation.

Driver Policy
Coastal Petroleum Suppliers is committed to the elimination of road accidents and the improvement of road safety. Our culture is based on the SOPAF Drive to Live and Arrive Alive training programme. As BVO's / drivers are a critical part of our team. A strong focus is placed on the selection and training of BVO's / drivers.
The BVO's / drivers are required:
To be in posession of valid Professional Driving Permit for Dangerous Goods known as “Prof.Driving Permit:D,G,P.” in accordance with the National Road Traffic Act of 1996. In order to obtain this the applicant must:
Have a valid driving licence for a motor vehicle in respect of which the permit is applied for with three (3) years blame free accident driving experience at the appropriate code level.
Have a valid medical certificate as required by the National Road Traffic Act No. 93 of 1996, which will be renewed annually.
Be a minimum of 25 years of age (for dangerous goods transport).
Be declared medically fit not more than 2 months prior to application.
To have not, within a period of 5 years preceding the application, been convicted of driving under the influence of drugs/alcohol or reckless/negligent driving.
Hold a Certificate for the Transportation of Dangerous goods and Substances by Road from an approved training institution issued not more than 2 months prior to the application.
To be verbally and numerically literate in English and preferably have a minimum qualification of Grade 1 certificate.
To willingly partake in and promote the company's and customer's safety program(s), including the wearing of personal protective equipment (PPE), undergoing regular training with all equipment and procedures associated with the work undertaken.
To promote the Company's policies, procedures and vision.
To conform to company standards with regards to integrity, honesty and confidentially.
References could be verified, deemed necessary.
Due to the stress involved in the transportation of dangerous goods identifying medical problems at an early stage is a priority. To facilitate this BVO's and drivers are required:
To go for annual medical examinations which include Gamma GT screening for alcohol and substance abuse.
If over the age of 45, to undergo an annual ECG.
If over the age of 50, to undergo a medical every six months.
All licences will be checked on a regular basis to ensure Bulk Vehicle Operators / Drivers comply with the AARTO demerit system.

Transporting all products over short and long distances without incident or accident.
Ensuring our vehicles are regularly checked, serviced and maintained in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations.
Recruiting drivers who are professionals and who will be continuously trained in driving techniques with the loading and off-loading of hazardous substances.
Adhering to the National Road Traffic Act and Dangerous Goods Act at all times.
Require sub-contractors to adhere to this policy.
